Project summary
During October and November 2016, Genesis will organize and conduct Sixth One-Minute Movie Festival Do you have a minute? The Festival will take place on 24th November 2016 in Banja Luka City Theatre Jazavac
. This will be a two-day event for 30 children/movie authors from 10 municipalities. Children will have an opportunity to socialize, get to know each other and watch each other’s movies. Through the one-minute junior movies on Annex 7 of Dayton Peace Agreement children did their best to convey their wishes, attitudes and needs and send strong messages about peace, communication and tolerance.
Activities
As a part of Festival activities Genesis and UNICEF will organize one-hour workshop on sustainable development goals, how do children see SDG’s and what do they say about SDG’s. This workshop will be prepared in the framework of UN consultative meetings on SDG’s. Workshop itself will be organized in the form of focus group disscusion. For focus group disscusion workshop facilitators will use questionnaire developed by UNICEF.
Expected results
Up to 30 children from the 10 targeting municipalities of the Annex 7 project will participate in the Sixth One-Minute Movie Festival Do you have a minute?, in Banjaluka. Over 200 children from Banjaluka municipality will watch 30 OMJMs/Festival, present as Festival audience.
