Deadline for applications for the second eUPSHIFT BiH extended until October 23 and until October 30 for the third eUPSHIFT BiH. The application deadline for the second eUPSHIFT in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been extended to October 23 (23:59), and for the third eUPSHIFT to October 30 (23:59), so that as many young people as possible have the opportunity to learn about the opportunities that this online workshop also provide, and sign up to it. Given that the call for applications for the third eUPSHIFT in BiH was opened at an unusual time of the COVID-19 pandemic, we recognize that young people need more time to be adequately informed about this workshop, form their teams and fill out applications.
eUPSHIFT is an online workshop according to UPSHIFT methodologies developed in UNICEF’s Innovation Office with the aim of providing young people with the skills and resources needed to identify problems in local communities and design solutions for them.
Adolescents aged 13 to 19 can apply in teams of three to five members from the area of municipalities:
● Second eUPSHIFT: Drvar, Bosansko Grahovo, Glamoč, Kupres, Livno, Tomislavgrad, Široki Brijeg, Ljubuški, Grude, Posušje, Mostar, Konjic, Jablanica, Prozor-Rama, Čapljina, Stolac, Čitluk, Neum, Trebinje, Ljubinje, Nevesinje, Bileća, Gacko (deadline: October 23),
● Third eUPSHIFT: Banja Luka, Prnjavor, Kotor Varoš, Srbac, Gradiska, Doboj, Laktaši, Prijedor, Derventa and Mrkonjić Grad (deadline: October 30).

After the selection, a total of 20 teams will be selected to participate in these workshops, as follows:
- 10 teams that will participate in the second eUPSHIFT from November 8 to 15, organized by the association “Laboratorium” Tuzla, and within the Joint Regional Program “Dialogue for the Future”, and
- 10 teams that will participate in the third eUPSHIFT from December 6 to 13, which is implemented by the organization “Genesis Project” from Banja Luka with the financial support of the Kingdom of Sweden.
During the eUPSHIFT workshops, a team of mentors will provide support to participants, guide them through the process of analysis and problem solving, and enable them to acquire new knowledge and skills. At the end of the workshops, the teams will present their ideas to an expert jury, after which the jury will select ten teams (five teams in the second and third eUPSHIFT) whose solutions it recognized as the best and award them with 3,000 KM to put the idea into action.
