Non-governmental organisation “Genesis project” from Banja Luka donated disinfectants and protective masks meant for protecting students and teaching staff from the coronavirus in primary schools on the territory of the Central Bosnia Canton, which are engaged in the realization of the project ”Bridges of trust and cooperation – empowering the local communities to initiate the change”.
Taking in consideration the current epidemiological situation, the need for this type of help, and the fact that this help has been shown to be very useful, Genesis Project plans to donate a similar package of utilities in the period to come. Besides desinficiants and protective masks, they’ve received school equipment. The following utilities were distributed to 12 primary schools in the Central Bosnia Canton.
This donation represents a continuation of a long lasting partnership between Genesis Project and the primary schools that were included in the project ”Bridges of trust and cooperation – empowering the local communities to initiate the change”

“Now when the implementation of epidemiological measures is mandatory, the donated disinfectants and protective masks are of key importance. They are being used, alongside the donated school equipment which will be of use to the pupils in the beginning of the school year.” said Marija Milanović, a pedagogue from the Catholic School Center “Petar Barbarić ” in Travnik.
Ana-Marija Marčeta, pedagogue from the elementary school “13. rujan” from Jajce points out that “in this specific time, disinfectants and protective masks as gifts are especially appreciated and needed”.
“We noticed that our students use masks at school every day. Of course, there are never enough disinfectants for surfaces, which we also received from the Genesis Project!”
