Did you know that football can be a tool for social changes and can help develop teamwork, respect for diversity, and basic values with young people? And that there is a unique way of playing football that changes the lives of people around the world? It's called Football3, because it consists of only three halves.
This unique method is being brought for the first time to Bosnia and Herzegovina by the NGO Genesis Project from Banja Luka and the young participants will be trained by one of the young coaches of the famous Arsenal football team.

What is this really about?

Thanks to the financing of the US Embassy in BiH, the Genesis Project is pleased to announce the start of the “Football3 for Peace” - Use football to make social change and develop young leaders” project.

The project is being implemented in partnership with the non-governmental organization FundLife, which is the world leader in the use of sports as a tool for social impact. FundLife is a member of FIFA's Corporate Social Responsibility program titled "Football for Hope" and operates under the auspices of the UEFA Foundation for Children. FundLife will act as a partner in the project and provide Genesis Project with training and advisory services that will enable us to introduce the football3 methodology to the Bosnia and Herzegovina children.

The first football3 training in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held on Jahorina from September 18 to September 21. Participants in the training are the children, from 11 to 14 years of age, pupils from the"two schools under one roof" from the municipalities of Busovača, Jajce and Vitez in the Central Bosnia Canton.

Given that the football club Arsenal in London is a FundLife's partner, the hildren will get the best out of football practice. They will be trained by Etienne Digout, a young and passionate football coach coming directly from Arsenal.

They will also learn the basic principles of leadership and peace building with the help of the Genesis Project team supported in this project by Mark Kasic, the founder of Fundlife.

During the duration of the project, 24 children and 16 teachers and representatives of the professional service of the school will be trained in total.
