Thirty teachers participated in the seminars which main goal is the development of coordination and cooperation between these two schools.
The “Rebuilding peace and trust among children and schoolteachers” project aims to provide children, teachers and parents with the appropriate instruments, communication skills and knowledge to allow them to strengthen and enhance mutual trust as a precondition for the development of the community and society. In addition to training of the teachers the peer education workshops in which the students learn more about the communication, non-violent resolution of conflicts, prejudices and stereotypes are also implemented in schools.
Within the “Rebuilding peace and trust among children and schoolteachers” project, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands will donate computer equipment to both schools in the amount of 3,500 KM. The modern equipped IT classrooms will facilitate schools to continue communication and cooperation in all fields.
The project implementation started on November 1st and ends on March 31st of this year.
