On the occasion of this year’s Anti-Violence Day, in the Dom omladine in Banja Luka, we conducted an educational theatre play “Friends are made, not added” for the students from the seventh, eighth and ninth grades of several schools in this city. The play covers the values that are slowly undermined under the influence of modern technologies and social networks and shows the children the risk that communication on social networks can carry through an interesting scenario.
It also asks the teenagers about whether we have become prisoners of social networks, and not being even aware of it?
The performance “Friends are made, not added”, as its name says, symbolically points to many dangers of modern technologies and educates the children on how to communicate in the right way.
Through its activities, the NGO Genesis Project has been implementing interactive and educational plays for over 20 years in the elementary schools throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
