Goal of the project
The project aims to educate primary school children on the promotion of peace and security, with emphasis on peace and security on the internet, prevention of hate speech on the internet, prevention of cyber bullying and prevention of internet slander. Interactive exchanges on gender equality, aimed at raising awareness and increasing knowledge on the causes and consequences of gender-based discrimination, will also be held.
Project direct beneficiaries
Over 3000 children (approximately 50% boys and 50% girls), attending 6th to 9th grades of primary schools (30 central primary schools, including their satellite departments, located in 8 municipalities throughout Middle Bosnia Canton: Bugojno, Busovaca, Fojnica, Jajce, Kiseljak, Novi Travnik, Vitez and Travnik). The total number of beneficiaries to be included during project implementation is estimated at 3000 children. In total, 50 theater plays will be performed.
Main project activities
a) Activity 1. Development and preparation of a new theatre performance,
b) Activity 2. Impact evaluation measurement,
c) Activity 3. Development, design and printing of an educational pamphlet,
d) Activity 4. Performance of 50 interactive, educational, theatre plays; pamphlet distribution,
e) Activity 5. Conduct of 50 Interactive exchanges on gender equality,
f) Activity 6. Reporting.
